Was Haromoni@ Worth Watching? February 10, 2008
Another Haromoni episode today. This will be my third week in a row of watching this show, thus being the longest consecutive viewings of Haromoni since its inception.

A performance by Buono that is MANY BUYS. I’m holding off on a review of Renai Rider while I try to figure at least one thing that is wrong with it. It has taken this long to figure that out though.

A close up on Miyabi’s skirt, this week’s episode is already better than last week’s.
And now to watch people do things that I’d rather watch Morning Musume do.

This kid skips rocks along the water. He throws a rock through the puppet’s head. My hero. This is pretty impressive but he found some good rocks to skip with.

STUPID DOG TRICKS! HOORAY! This week we have TWO DOGS doing wacky stuff. Awesome. They play Who Let The Dogs Out. This reminds me of MItt Romney, who is gone from Massachusetts and the United States. Yay.

Aahahhahahhahaah! Rape!

Aika’s got a video. And there’s a puppy. The puppy moons Aika and runs away. Not the reaction I would have done, but hilarious nonetheless.

Aika tries to talk to the talk by barking and howling. The dog ignores her existence. COMEDY!!!

Wow 4/4 greatness so far. Time to ruin it!

This feller acts like he is getting hit with a boomerang. I’d prefer the real thing.

As I expected, not as good as the wota dancing last week.

Some kids juggle stuff.

Another JunJun video, YAY! She jumps around. This isn’t as great as LinLin pretending to be riding a bull last week. Don’t get me wrong, this segment is no buys. No one could watch this and think, “I need to spend money for the sake for this girl.” Despite that, it’s still fun to watch.

Some mother who failed at showbiz has her kid perform her failed act.

I remember on an episode of HeyHeyHey, they had Ayumi Hamasaki try and park. On Haromoni, we have some person park a toy car. You try to figure out what it is more entertaining. Shouldn’t UFA be teaching these girls to not end up like Natsumi Abe after all?

Oh fantastic, another Takahashi video. FAILURE! All this did was remind me of Tsujikago bits. Not in a good way. The only thing in common this has in common with the Tsujikago stuff was that they both took place in an elevator. Other than that, this is boring as hell.

No buys.

Old guy chops up some apples.
Takahashi’s video wins. Far from the truth.
A lackluster episode this week. Aika and Junjun’s video entertained me, but they probably do little to entertain potential Morning Musume fans. Every week there are little things that please me (rape t-shirt and that puppet getting a rock in the head). However, the main intention, if it is to market Morning Musume, fails miserably.
It would be very simple for the members to perform some of these acts. Takahashi, Niigaki, Kamei, Michishige, Tanaka and Junjun (if she can) are all over 18, and I’m pretty sure that is the driving age for Japan. It’d be much more interesting to watch them try to park a real car than have some guy park a toy car. Furthermore, it’d be the persona of the girls that make the segment, which would lead to new fans. Until then, this show is not worth anyone’s time watching.
Next week, we have:

The return of Mika Mutou.

Stupid Koha tricks.

Stupid animal tricks.
I can’t wait.

That picture of Koharu is scary as hell.
