TLS March Madness: Yoshizawa Region 2v15/7v10

In this round:
2. Koharu Kusumi vs. 15. Asuna Okai
7. Risako Sugaya vs. 10. Mika Mutou

Koharu Kusumi
Age: 15

vs.

Asuna Okai
Age: 11

Activity: Koharu Kusumi. She had her own album!

Looks: Koharu Kusumi. This was obvious.

Charisma: Koharu Kusumi. Too easy.

WINNER - Koharu Kusumi 3-0. This was a clean sweep. Asuna really didn’t stand a chance.

Risako Sugaya
Age: 13

vs.

Mika Mutou
Age: 16

Activity: Mika Mutou. I liked Ongaku Gatas more than Berryz Koubou over the last year, what can I say?

Looks: Risako Sugaya. I was this close to picking Mika just for the irony of her winning a Looks category.

Charisma: Risako Sugaya. Mika is pretty boring.

WINNER - Risako Sugaya 2-1. Risako was just barely able to take a match up that shouldn’t have posed a problem. Koharu vs. Risako will be an interesting one. They both seem to draw complete love or utter disdain from fans. Can you guess which one is which for me? Koha is the favorite.

I’ll definitely be interested to see the upcoming Sugaya vs. Kusumi battle. Everyone knows my opinion of Sugaya, but Koharu I’m sort of on the fence about. She’s sometimes endearing, mostly annoying. (I think if she didn’t grin and act like a fool in the most serious of PVs, like the recent “Resonant Blue”, I wouldn’t be so averse to her as an idol and her presence in Momusu. Come on, Koharu, what happened to you since “Kanashimi Twilight”?)

Thank you for using a flattering picture of Mutou. There are sadly not many of those.
