Looks: Asami Konno. Ha ha! I must have made the perfect brackets by accident. I had Momoko vs Momoka, Koharu vs Risako and now this. In the looks category, Asami Konno and her konkons vs flat-chested Airi Suzuki. Maybe in a few years Airi, maybe in a few years…

Charisma: Airi Suzuki. Airi just barely squeaked by here. Seriously.

WINNER - Airi Suzuki 2-1. A strong showing by Asami Konno - yet one that doesn’t place her in the Sweet 16. A tough seeding can be the reasoning for this. Airi is going to have to pull it together to advance to the Final Four!

Activity: Yuri Sawada. In the brief amount of time that I have seen Yuri, I have been very impressed. Risa’s activites, especially her impressions in Haromoni, are starting to run thin.

Looks: Risa Niigaki. Unfortunately for Yuri, we have all seen some pretty bad photos of her. Risa has had some bad photos and haircuts too, but at this point I am going with Risa.

Charisma: Risa Niigaki. What? Seriously? Well, I didn’t see this coming. The truth is that Risa does entertain me even though I try to deny it.

WINNER - Risa Niigaki 2-1. Yuri had the 2nd defining moment of 2007 for me - the first being Kanna’s t-shirt - with her performance in the Yattarozue close-up PV. The fact of the matter is that beyond that - I’m not sure how much I like Yuri. Maybe with Manoeri booted out of Ongaku Gatas she can get more time to win me over. Risa advances to the Sweet 16 for now and goes up against Airi. Airi will need a better showing than what she did vs Konno.
