TLS March Madness: Yajima Region 1v9/4v5
In this round:
1. Maimi Yajima vs. 9. Eri Kamei
4. Kanna Arihara vs. 5. Junjun

Maimi Yajima
Age: 16
Beat: 16. Konatsu Furukawa
vs.

Eri Kamei
Age: 19
Beat: 8. Asuka Hinoi
Activity: Maimi Yajima. 2006 Eri Kamei would make a case for this. 2007 Eri falls far behind Maimi’s year.
Looks: Maimi Yajima. The battle of the sexy. This is a pure judgment call although the case can be made for both.
Charisma: Maimi Yajima. This was an easy category. You would know why if you’ve seen solo performances of Natsu Doki Lipstick.

WINNER - Maimi Yajima 3-0. I’m not sure what happened to Eri but she mellowed out and is becoming backdrop to Ai/Reina. Meanwhile, Maimi is trying to take the spotlight from Airi. Maimi in the Sweet 16. The score doesn’t indicate how close this was though.

Kanna Arihara
Age: 14
Beat: 13. Saki Shimizu
vs.

JunJun
Age: 20
Beat: 12. Mai Hagiwara
Activity: Kanna Arihara. A strong showing from Junjun this year - but not enough to combat TRUE LIFE SEEK.
Looks: Kanna Arihara. Whenever Kanna has that awful curled hair, I second guess myself. Then, I see her without and remember.
Charisma: Junjun. What?? Well, hear me out. Kanna simply hasn’t had the opportunities. Meanwhile, Junjun swallows down bananas on Haromoni like they are breath mints. Hopefully, Berikyuu gives Kanna that same opportunity.

WINNER - Kanna Arihara 2-1. Ah Junjun, you gave a strong effort. But Kanna will still move on to the Sweet 16 to face… Maimi… I’m wondering if this tournament was a good idea.
Side note: this is the blog’s 100th entry. I think it is fitting that Kanna took it over.
