Went to the Medicine Wheel event, wrote down a story and a prayer. It actually got a bit emotional lol

The Reason Wasn’t All That Complicated After All

My reason to continue TLS and blogging is the social aspect of blogging.

It is pretty simple to me and I don’t feel the need to expound too much upon it. I may one day, but I am not planning on responding to the survey myself. This is because I designed it so that I could read the reactions from all different kinds of people.

I guess now I am following that “don’t waste time saying that ‘I’m back’” advice about returning to blogging.

However, there are a few things I should go over.

I stopped blogging because I had trouble seeing the point of it. I asked TLS readers and the IW community to give me their reasons on why they blog. I thought that I’d find my reasons to keep blogging in their answers. This was a false assumption on my behalf. I shouldn’t have expected to to find my personal reason to blog to be the exact same as someone else’s.

However, the magnitude and the quality of the responses gave me my reason. It is because that I can interact with all these different people that I am going to keep blogging. I had high hopes for the survey, but low expectations. I hoped that there would be a lot of responses, but did not expect it. The low expectations were in fact way too low. Furthermore, the response showed me that I can speak to all different kinds of people, even if it is through writing on the interwebs and about jpop.

To answer a question asked of me, yes, I read all of them. I didn’t comment on any of them or email people back. I knew that I was not going to be able to keep up on commenting, and I didn’t want to make anyone think that I didn’t read their survey since I didn’t comment.

The responses were amazing. Thank you to anyone who took the time to do it. Honestly, I could tell a lot was put into them and I appreciate it. Initially, I was going to sum up the responses that everyone gave me. I don’t think that’d be appropriate. I feel that summarizing the responses wouldn’t give the time and effort people put into them respect. Instead, I am just going to link, those that posted on their blogs, all of them.

I’m pretty sure this is all of them. I have a feeling someone is missing, but I’ve searched through my email, feeds, IW and google and can’t find one. Such a tough feeling to shake. If anyone feels like they want to do a response from here on out, there is no reason not to.

I may return to this topic one day. But I’m ready to just get back to normal for now.

I’m sorry I didn’t get around to doing your survey, as I was planning to, having had finals and stuff. I hope you found my comments on wotachat useful though. :-)

Since I only e-mailed it and didn’t post it to my blog, it looks like you’re missing mine. :) Not that it matters too much, tbh.

Kawaiirrhea: It’s ok, others didn’t exactly email or post a response and helped a lot as well. That was a good chat we had.

Kd: I didn’t want to post the emails people sent me. I also didn’t want to list off the people that emailed me. Like I said, I appreciated all the feedback, yours included.
