Perfume - Love the world Preview
Looking at Perfume City today, I saw that there is a preview of Perfume’s next single, “Love the world.” It is definitely more light-hearted than the more popular songs of GAME, specifically the title track “GAME” and “Secret Secret.” While this will only empower the people who say that all of Perfume’s songs sound alike, I get a “polyrhythm” vibe from this song.
But then again, it is expected that people will think all of Perfume’s music sounds the same. I remember an Idolizing St.Anna entry, and this dates back to 2006, about Perfume at a live concert. I’ll never forget what Kashiyuka said about Perfume’s music:
“If you like techno, this album will be interesting. But if you don’t, all the songs sound same.”
(Edit June 19, 2008 4:18AM): The Youtube link is dead. If you want to listen to the preview, there is this post at the Perfume City BBS.

^ That comment about perfume reminds me about Hinoi Team for some reason. If you love eurobeat, you’ll find them awesome. Otherwise, they sound the same.
Youtube link is dead btw. =D

I guess you could apply it to any genre. I’m sure there are some people who think all rap, metal, country, etc. sounds alike.
